Conference Overview

This international conference brings together researchers, educators, academics, and sustainability leaders to examine the intersection of sustainability, climate change, and education in multicultural contexts. It provides a forum for presenting high-quality research, engaging in critical interdisciplinary dialogue, and fostering partnerships that support both academic advancement and community-based impact.

Sustainability is a central field shaping the future of societies across environmental, economic, and social domains. As climate-related challenges intensify, there is a growing need for culturally responsive and context-sensitive approaches to education, policy, and innovation. Through regional and international collaboration, the conference aims to deepen shared understanding, promote intercultural dialogue, and encourage joint initiatives across diverse communities and institutions.

Conference Objectives
  • Advance academic discourse on sustainability and climate change in multicultural contexts;
  • Strengthen regional and international research collaborations and scholarly networks;
  • Promote educational initiatives that support environmental and values-based education;
  • Share innovative models for integrating sustainability into teacher education and multicultural education systems;
  • Highlight the role of civil society and community-based action in environmental change, with attention to civic engagement, gender equality, sustainable agriculture, green technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Special sessions will spotlight emerging innovations and research-informed methodologies that are reshaping teaching and learning across educational contexts.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Academic Arab College for Education in Haifa for the  SCCMC Conference 2026.
